Rejoice

Rejoice is program coordinator for Earth Guardians Africa and the co-chair for the Earth Guardians Europe-Africa cooperation.

She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Science and Management.

As an undergraduate, Rejoice led her departmental association to collaborate with Earth Guardians and Plant for the Planet and undertook projects such: tree planting, symposiums, and seminars on environmental topics. Rejoice is a strong stand for love, justice and equity. It's her belief that to live in harmony with one another and the environment, each individual must consciously acknowledge that black lives matter and take actions that prioritize the interest of others.

Due to Rejoice’s commitment and the drive to see things done well, she was elected as President of the Students' Representative Council. While serving in that position she defended the common interests of the students which among many include the reduction of school fees and a fair representation of students' voices, and won the award for the most outstanding student leader. In 2019, Rejoice represented Earth Guardians at the Africa Climate Week held in Ghana.

As a passionate science teacher, Rejoice loves sharing and imparting knowledge to her students. Her interests include reading, taking time to spend time in nature to reconnect to myself, and theology.

Finally, Rejoice believes that the economic future of every nation worldwide is in agriculture and that it is humanities responsibility to promote sustainable and regenerative agriculture. Rejoice’s most current project promotes organic food growth, educating farmers and policy makers on the long term impact of chemical fertilizers and pesticides on productivity and soil fertility, with a vision to empower local communities to adopt environmentally friendly agriculture.
