Tupã Levi - Regional Director Brazil

Tupã Levi is a 14 year old teenager who started his activities in 2012 at the age of 7, fighting against the implementation of new mining projects in his community, in the municipality of Águas da Prata, SP.

In January 2014, still 8 years old, he co-founded Earth Guardians Brazil, one of the first groups to be formed outside the US (along with Togo and Australia). Since then, he has continued to work in the social environmental and climate movement within the Earth Guardians collective in Brazil, through local campaigns, music, audiovisual and meetings with students in public schools.

He has also actively participated in various campaigns promoted or supported by Earth Guardians Global, such as #ProtectOurFuture (Earth, Water, Air and Climate), #ClimateSilence, #StopSucking, #NoDAPL, #ClimateMarch, #NoFracking, #ZeroFossil and #ClimateStrike.

In 2017, at age 13, with the creation of #SchoolOfGuardians project, he assumed the post of Youth Director of Earth Guardians Brazil and, in December 2019, that of Regional Director.

From an early age, he committed himself to the creation and development of new Earth Guardians crews in his home country, always seeking partnership and friendship with potential Guardians - to follow pressing collectively several critical points of the current reality of climate and ecological emergency.
