Earth Guardians will be delivering pledge signatures to the United States Congress after the People’s Climate March in D.C. on April 29th, 2017. Together, let's show them that we the people are no longer waiting for our elected officials to take action; we are taking matters into our own hands. There is no more time to waste! Pledge to be a Climate Leader, and don't forget to share the pledge on social media using the hashtags #EarthGuardians #ProtectOurFuture #GenerationRYSE and #SilenceIntoAction.

How this pledge started:

Itzcuauhtli is a dedicated Earth Guardian and young Indigenous leader. As he's learned more about climate change over the past few years, Itzcuauhtli and become increasingly concerned with the urgency of the climate crisis and the fate of his generation.

In 2014, when he was 11 years old, Itzcuauhtli decided to take a 45-day vow of silence to inspire youth everywhere to speak up for future generations. As a result, people from all over the world signed the Earth Guardian pledge to be Climate Leaders and wore green wristbands in solidarity. Thousands joined him in a talking strike on December 10, 2014. At COP21 in Paris we delivered thousands of signatures.

Delivering Our Pledge:

On April 29th, hundreds of thousands of people from across the world will take to the streets to demand that elected officials address climate change and protect our health, our land, and future generations. After the march, we will deliver our pledge to the United States Congress with a strong message: our voice cannot be silenced and climate action must be taken now.

Join us as we rally Earth Guardians all around the world to come together as one and send this message. Share the petition, urge your friends, classmates, family, and coworkers to sign, and join us on April 29th as we march!
