The third generation of Earth Guardian youth will be presenting the new and revised E.A.R.T.H. presentation this fall so please contact us if you would like us to come and share E.A.R.T.H. with you in your school, community event, or conference.
Why It's Important:
As youth we know there is a serious problem. We hear bits of it in our science classes, on the news, and from our parents. What we don’t hear is “What are we going to do about it?” Our lifestyles are causing many serious problems such as global warming, ozone depletion, and acid rain, just to name a few. Our precious forests are disappearing, taking vital ecosystems and countless species with them, and our oceans are on the verge of collapse from over fishing, oil spills, and pollution.
We have done more damage to the earth in the last twenty years as a species than in all of the history of humankind. We have created the ability to destroy the planet in our lifetime. If we continue down this path of self destruction, we will have nothing to leave for future generations.

We must realize that our lifestyles have created these problems, yet we hold the key to the solutions, if we are willing to take responsibility for our actions and change the direction we are headed.
The question is, what are we going to do about it, and what are you going to do about it? We at Earth Guardians believe we must first educate ourselves. When we as young people have the information that E.A.R.T.H. provides, it gives us the power to act and make true change. When we share that knowledge with our peers, our parents, and our community, it inspires them to act and to stand with us. Together, we have the power to change the world, and it will take every one of us through actions big and small to restore the health of our Mother Earth, and it all starts by how we live our lives. The E.A.R.T.H. presentation has been designed to provide youth and adults with the first stepping stone on this long, difficult, but rewarding journey towards healing the earth.
